Job Title: Shipping Office Support/Parts Sorter
Location: Columbia Station, OH
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Nesco Resource is hiring for a versatile and detail-oriented Shipping Office Support/Parts Sorter. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a mix of hands-on work and administrative tasks. While the primary responsibility will involve manually sorting parts, the position also includes providing coverage in the shipping office during absences or vacations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and inspect parts for quality assurance.
- Assist in the shipping office as needed:
- Process shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Create and print labels for shipments.
- Contact trucking companies to arrange pickups.
- Operate a computer to input and track shipment details using shipping software.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company safety and operational protocols.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate a computer and learn shipping software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to transition between hands-on work and administrative tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
